How DJing 100+ Weddings Inspired Me to Launch Lit & Loud Events

I always knew I’d have fun as a DJ, but I never pictured myself in a nightclub at 2 a.m. surrounded by shots and chaos. That just wasn’t my vibe so I never pursued it. That was until a close friend, who is a wedding DJ, encouraged me to try WEDDINGS! I’m so glad I did.
I joined the incredible team at CoHost Entertainment, where I got the kind of hands-on training that builds real skill and confidence. I learned from some of the best DJs in the DFW area and eventually became one of their 5-star performers (according to my reviews on Google and The Knot). If you're ever considering becoming a wedding DJ, CoHost would be an excellent place to start! You typically get a CoHost DJ when you book your wedding at a Walter's Wedding Estate venue as part of a package.
Over time, I found my voice and style: professional, fun, and always focused on making each couple’s day flow beautifully. After DJing and hosting several weddings with CoHost I started booking events on my own. After over a hundred weddings with CoHost, I decided to step out on my own and launch my own brand, Lit & Loud Events, to take things to the next level.
Since then, I’ve been part of some incredible celebrations, including destination weddings as far as Greece! I’ve also had the opportunity to help couples plan and coordinate their weddings long distance, like my couple who planned their Texas wedding all the way from Chicago, and another upcoming wedding I’m helping coordinate in Arizona while based right here in Texas.
These days, I’m not just spinning music, I’m helping couples plan, coordinate, and host one of the biggest days of their lives. It’s fulfilling, exciting, and honestly, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
If you're ready to start planning your own unforgettable wedding experience let’s connect and talk about how I can bring the best music, flow, and energy your most special day!
