Wedding Cake Cutting Songs: Sweet Sounds for a Sweet Moment

The cake cutting moment is often one of those wedding traditions that sneaks up on couples—and many forget to plan music for it! Whether you're making this a private moment or sharing it with your guests, having the right song (or two!) can make it even more memorable.

If you're doing the cake cutting in front of your guests, I recommend giving your DJ two songs for this part of the evening. It typically takes about 10 minutes to cut the cake, feed each other, pose for a few photos, and toast with champagne. A great soundtrack can help keep the vibe light, fun, and full of love during this sweet little pause in the night.
